Research Field

Planning and operating the distribution system has increased in complexity with the proliferation of variable distributed generation and the diversification of its load, including the electrification of other energy-dense sectors such as heating and transportation. My research focuses on the latter by trying to account for the challenges and opportunities of the electrification of transport in the operation and the generation expansion planning of the distribution system.
