Additional Information

Larissa Schefer is leading the Office for Faculty Affairs since 1 March 2023.
Before, she managed the ETH Competence Center for Materials and Processes (MaP), and was coordinator of the MaP Doctoral School and the ETH Sabbatical | CAS Advanced Materials and Processes programme. She studied Food Science and holds a doctorate in Soft Materials from ETH Zurich. In her research, she focused on the chiral self-assembly of food polysaccharides at the molecular level using high resolution atomic force microscopy imaging. She also gained experience in applied R&D projects during her time spent in industry.
